The witcher is a fantasy television streaming series. It is created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and this drama series is based on the book “The Witcher” published by Andrzej Sapkowski. In this drama, Lauren just explores Rivia and Princess Ciriri (legend of Geralt). They were linked with each from a long time. The main character of this drama series is Henry Cavill, Freya Allan, and Anya Chalotra.
On December 29, 2019, Netflix released the first season of Witcher consisting of eight episodes. After season 1 fan is waiting for Witcher season 2. On the basis of the rating of season 1, Netflix announced that they were released Witcher season 2.
Witcher Season 2 Release Date
In July during WitcherCon Netflix confirmed that they are going to release Witcher season 2 on December 17, 2021. At the start of 2020, Netflix started the production of season 2 and decide to release it in 2021.
Same as other movies, the production of this drama series was delayed because of coronavirus. One member of their cast, Kristofer Hivju was tested positive. That’s why they need to stop production till March 2020. In April 2021 they confirmed officially that the production of the season has been done and completed.

Netflix released a number of new Witcher trailers following its “TUDUM” fan event in September, including a Season 2 teaser that puts us right in the middle of the action as Geralt of Rivia takes Ciri into the Witcher sanctuary of Caer Morhen.
